Teens sentenced in sex assault-Twitter case in Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) ? A judge sentenced two Kentucky teenagers on Friday to community service and sex offender treatment for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl who later identified her attackers on Twitter.

Savannah Dietrich posted the boys' names on Twitter despite a gag order because she thought the initial plea deal in June was too lenient. She said she also was unaware a deal had been reached until just before it was announced.

Jefferson County District Judge Angela McCormick Bisig slightly altered the initial deal, saying the pair, now 17 years old, may seek to have the sexual assault charges reduced when they are 21. The previous agreement expunged their record automatically before they turned 20.

The judge also ordered them to surrender the names of anyone who saw semi-nude photos of an unconscious Dietrich, something she had wanted all along. The teens said the assault occurred after a night of drinking in August 2011.

After the judge announced the sentence, a composed Dietrich said she was satisfied and will walk away a smarter person. She doubted her attackers understand the impact of their actions.

"I'm not sure it meant anything to them," Dietrich said. "I hope one day they'll understand the situation."

The Associated Press does not generally identify victims of sexual assault, but Dietrich and her parents wanted her story public. The names of the two attackers have not been disclosed because the case has been handled in juvenile court.

During the hearing, Dietrich said she considered suicide after the assault.

"I was in so much pain, death seemed like a friendly thought to me," she said.

The assault gained public attention when Dietrich tweeted the names of the boys against a judge's orders not to discuss the case. Defense attorneys had asked a judge to consider a contempt charge for Dietrich, but dropped their request.

Juvenile proceedings in Kentucky are normally closed to the public, but The Courier-Journal successfully fought to open the case and the court records.

On Friday, Dietrich read from a statement for more than 15 minutes as her attackers sat at a table, one looking down; the other staring straight ahead. Neither spoke publicly during the proceeding.

Dietrich at times addressed her attackers directly. At other times, her hands visibly shaking, Dietrich faced the judge and unleashed her frustrations about the case.

"I couldn't even cry myself to sleep," Dietrich said. "I hardly got any sleep."

Dietrich said she only wanted an apology and a list of people who were shown the partially-nude photos of her taken the night of the assault.

When she got neither, Dietrich said, she went to the police and filed the criminal case. After that, Dietrich said, the two boys and their families began badmouthing her to friends and family members.

"Not only would you not own up to and admit to your actions, you blamed me," Dietrich said.

Assistant County Attorney Julie Hardesty told Dietrich during closing arguments that she was brave for reporting the attack and going through with the prosecution.

"We have admired your strength and we have admired your poise," Hardesty said.

In interviews with Louisville Metro Police in February, the two boys told detectives that they were drinking with Dietrich and a few other people at her home last August when they were left alone with the heavily intoxicated teen.

They told police they assaulted Dietrich because "we thought it would be funny, but it wasn't."

Chris Klein, the attorney for one of the attackers, read a letter his client wrote, apologizing and acknowledging what he did was wrong.

"I still can't believe I was foolish enough to use such bad judgment," Klein read from the letter.

Both teens were students at the all-boys Trinity High School in Louisville at the time of the assault. Attorneys said both now attend other schools. One of the teens has since moved with his family to a new neighborhood.

David Mejia, the attorney for the other teen, said his client feels bad about the assault, but didn't send the photos to anyone. Since the plea became public, Mejia said, his client has faced death threats.

How do I Find a Pelvic Floor PT? | Pelvic Health & Rehab

pt search One of the biggest challenges for pelvic pain patients is finding the right physical therapist. Since we?ve launched our blog, one of the most consistent areas of feedback has been the difficulty patients have finding appropriate pelvic floor PT.

A variety of issues are behind this difficulty. First, the supply of PTs qualified to treat pelvic pain does not meet the patient demand. A major reason for this is that pelvic floor PT is not part of the current PT school curriculum. So, PTs who wish to become educated in pelvic floor PT must find and fund their own post graduate training. And post graduate educational opportunities in pelvic floor PT, while they do exist, are limited.

Another reason its so hard to find a pelvic pain PT is that many PTs today who do treat the pelvic floor only treat incontinence, which as we?ve already discussed in previous blog posts, is a very different animal than pelvic pain.

On top of all of this, the pipeline between doctors who treat pelvic pain and pelvic floor physical therapists is still very much a work in progress. So it?s not a given that a patient?s physician is going to be able to recommend a PT to him or her.

What makes the current PT environment for pelvic pain treatment so frustrating is that hands-on PT is a proven treatment approach for pelvic pain. I for one have seen first-hand just how successful it can be?even in situations that previously seemed hopeless to the patient.

So considering these challenges, how does one find a knowledgeable and experienced pelvic floor PT?

Fortunately, there are extremely knowledgeable and experienced pelvic floor PTs out there. And resources and avenues do exist to help pelvic pain patients connect with them. In this blog I?m going to give you the downlow on these resources as well as some advice on how to best apply them to your PT search.

American Physical Therapy Association

The APTA is a professional association for physical therapists in the United States. On its website, the organization offers a searchable database of ?women?s health? PTs. I qualify the phrase ?women?s health? because as we?ve already discussed in previous posts, pelvic pain does not discriminate between the sexes. Thankfully, some of the PTs listed in APTAs ?women?s health? locator treat both women and men with pelvic pain, so despite it?s name, this database can be used by both men and women to find a PT.

That said, this database is not the last word on pelvic floor PT. Unfortunately, a number of the PTs listed there only treat incontinence, so when you contact the PTs from the database, be sure and ask them if they also treat pelvic pain. For some PTs, ?women?s health? PT still means simply the treatment of incontinence.

In addition, and this goes for all of the PT leads you get from the resources listed in this post, ask the PTs how they treat pelvic pain. What you?re looking for is a PT that treats the pelvic floor using both internal?via the vagina and/or the rectum?manual therapy and external myofascial techniques including myofascial trigger point therapy and connective tissue manipulation. It might be beneficial to read our previous post ?What is a ?Good? Pelvic Floor PT Session Like?? prior to interviewing potential pelvic floor PTs. You can find the APTA?s women?s health locator here.

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Classes

One great way to find a pelvic floor PT is to get in touch with the folks who are teaching post-graduate courses in pelvic floor PT.

Stephanie and I teach such a course. Each year we travel to an average of four different cities to teach a course in the treatment of pelvic pain. So feel free to contact us, and if we know of a PT in your area that we are comfortable recommending, we will be more than happy to do so.

The Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute is also an organization that teaches a variety of post-graduate pelvic floor PT courses. So a patient could contact the faculty members of Herman & Wallace, and ask for a PT recommendation.

Click here to go the the Herman & Wallace website.

The International Pelvic Pain Society

The International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS) is a non-profit organization whose membership includes gynecologists, urologists, physical therapists, psychologists and other health professionals. Since 1995, the IPPS has sponsored a variety of research and educational programs aimed at providing optimal diagnosis and treatment to pelvic pain sufferers.

The IPPS has a ?find a provider? option on its website here.

Happy Pelvis or other Pelvic Pain Social Media

Happy Pelvis is a Yahoo message group that was started by a past patient of ours at PHRC. Specifically, the group was started to support pelvic pain sufferers who are seeking PT. Today, Happy Pelvis has hundreds of active members who are always willing to recommend PTs. In addition, there is a searchable list of pelvic pain PTs in the group?s archives.

You can find Happy Pelvis here.

Pelvic Floor Health Providers

There are many wonderful doctors, PTs, and other health providers who are leading the charge in the arena of pelvic pain diagnosis and treatment research. I have known of pelvic pain patients who have contacted them after reading their research and been successfully referred to pelvic floor PTs by them.

The above are all great resources that you can use to find a pelvic pain PT in your area. However, as I mentioned earlier, there is a supply and demand issue when it comes to pelvic pain PT. And unfortunately, there are regions of the country where there are no practicing pelvic floor PTs.

What do you do if you are in need of a PT and you live in one of these areas?

If you are in this situation, my best advice to you is to make plans to travel for pelvic floor PT. In the current pelvic pain PT environment, this is an option that many pelvic pain patients are forced to explore. Indeed, 10 percent of our patients are out-of-town patients. Thankfully, there are a handful of major ?pelvic pain hubs? spread throughout the country.

Some of the major hubs are in: San Francisco (PHRC), Chicago, New York City, Michigan, Orlando, Durham, North Carolina (Duke University), Philadelphia, Phoenix, Rochester, New York, and Minnesota (the Mayo Clinic).

However, what do you do if you have to travel out of town for treatment, but need it on a long-term basis?

Well, some of our out-of-town patients are able to arrange for either their ?local PTs to travel with them so that Stephanie or I can show the local PTs how to best treat them or they bring along their significant others to learn how to administer certain treatment techniques on them. Plus, anytime you travel for PT, you should ask the out-of-town PT if he or she knows of a PT close to you that might be able to carry out their treatment methods, just in case there is someone nearby you missed in your own search.

Also, not all PTs are created equal, so some pelvic pain patients chose to travel to one of the above-mentioned hubs to get the best treatment possible. From there, they often put their out-of-town PT and local PT in touch to pull off a team treatment approach.

I understand that traveling for pelvic pain PT is certainly not the ideal; however, until the supply and demand situation is remedied, it?s an option many folks turn to. The good news is that compared to even five years ago, the number of PTs treating pelvic pain has greatly increased, and continues to do so.

I hope I?ve been able to give you some helpful guidance for finding a pelvic floor PT in your area. Please leave any questions or comments you might have in the comment section below.

Plus, if you know of a pelvic floor PT that you would like to spread the word about, please feel free to leave his or her information in the comment section. And let us know why you would recommend them.

As always, we look forward to hearing from you.

All the best to you,
Liz

US missions brace for anti-Islam film protests

Ed Giles / Getty Images Contributor

Riot police throw rocks toward protesters during clashes near the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and Tahrir Square on Friday.

By NBC News staff and wire reports

Egyptian protesters angry at a film offending the Prophet Muhammad hurled stones at police near the U.S. Embassy in Cairo on Friday, as American missions across the Arab world and beyond tightened security in expectation of anti-U.S. demonstrations on the Muslim day of prayer.

Cairo police in riot gear fired tear gas and threw stones back at the demonstrators. A burned-out car was overturned in the middle of the street that leads to the fortified embassy from Tahrir Square, the locus point of massive demonstrations that led to the ouster of pro-American dictator Hosni Mubarak last year.

The Islamist group the Muslim Brotherhood has led calls for a "million-man march" in Cairo on Friday to protest the film and the United States.

Triggered by an obscure, anti-Islam video made in the U.S.?and released on the internet, angry protests by Muslims have been directed at U.S. diplomatic missions in at least 11 countries this week. Many Muslims have questioned why the U.S. authorities have not taken action against the filmmakers.

On Tuesday, in an assault that U.S. officials say may have been planned in advance by an al-Qaida-linked group, attackers killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans at the U.S. Consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.

President Barack Obama, facing a new foreign policy crisis less than two months before seeking re-election, has vowed to bring to justice those responsible for the Benghazi attack.

Four people have so far been arrested over that incident, Libyan authorities said.

A security source told NBC News on Friday that a 48-hour no-fly zone had been imposed over Benghazi in the wake of the consulate attack. The restrictions were believed to be put in place late Thursday night or early Friday local time.

Sanaa resident: 'It is a dangerous situation'
In the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, where anti-U.S. protesters attacked the guard offices outside the main embassy building on Thursday, security forces on Friday blocked the streets surrounding the U.S. mission as demonstrators gathered nearby.

Around 20 to 30 people stood in a road to the north of the embassy, carrying signs saying "Anything but the Messenger of God," a Reuters witness said.

NYT: Egypt leaders caught in the middle in anti-US protests

A security source told Reuters that at least 15 people were wounded, some by gunfire, in Sanaa on Thursday before the government ringed the area with troops.

Security forces faced violent protests in Egypt and Yemen spurred by angry mobs accusing the U.S. of insulting the prophet Mohammad. NBC's Richard Engel reports.

No U.S. embassy staff were hurt. Yemen's President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi condemned the attack and said Yemen would be launching an investigation.

Why films and cartoons of Muhammad spark violence

The embassy in Yemen told U.S. citizens it expected more protests against the film and that it would be closing its consular services on Saturday.

"U.S. Embassy Sanaa informs U.S. citizens of continued demonstrations in the vicinity of the embassy, and the security situation remains fluid," the embassy said in a statement posted on its website late Thursday.

The U.S. Embassy is closed on Thursdays and Fridays, which are not working days in Yemen.

Residents living nearby said they feared more violent protests after Friday prayers.

"It is a dangerous situation," one Sanaa resident told Reuters. "I cannot wait until the morning to move my family to another neighborhood until the situation is totally calm."

At least 224 people were injured in protests outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo on Thursday, the BBC reported.

Earlier this week, angry young men scaled the walls of the building and tore down and burned the American flag there.

Man behind anti-Islam movie ID'd as Egypt-born ex-con

Libyan leader Mohammed Magarief and Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi both apologized to the United States over the attacks and Egypt's Islamist president, Muhammad Morsi, condemned them on television while also rejecting any "insult to the prophet."

Morsi, a member of Muslim Brotherhood who became the country's first democratically-elected president earlier this year, may face?the sternest challenge of all: How to retain the support of Egypt's Islamists by condemning the video,?while not alienating Washington, which continues to provide massive economic aid to Egypt.?

Zoubeir Souissi / Reuters

Protests that led to the deaths of the U.S. Ambassador in Libya and three other Americans at the consulate in Benghazi spread across the region, ignited by a controversial film that ridicules Islam's Prophet Muhammad.

Many Muslim states focused their condemnation on the film and will be concerned about preventing a repeat of the fallout seen after publication in a Danish newspaper of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. That touched off riots in the Middle East, Africa and Asia in 2006 in which at least 50 people were killed.

Protests spread
About 200 demonstrators gathered Friday outside the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait and hoisted banners.

In Bangladesh, Islamists tried to march on the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, and Iranian students protested in Tehran. Earlier in the week, there were protests outside U.S. missions in Tunisia, Morocco and Sudan and state-backed Islamic scholars in Sudan have called a mass protest after Friday prayers.

In Nigeria, the government put police on high alert and stepped up security around all foreign missions, also fearing an Islamist backlash, possibly after Friday prayers.

Libya arrests 4 suspected in deadly US consulate attack

The U.S. Embassy in Kabul has appealed to Afghan leaders for help in "maintaining calm."

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday Washington had nothing to do with the crudely made film posted on the Internet, which she called "disgusting and reprehensible."

Officials said Thursday that President Obama doesn't intend to downgrade Egypt, which gets $1.5 billion a year in U.S. aid. NBC's Andrea Mitchell reports.

The amateurish production, entitled the "Innocence of Muslims," and originating in the United States, portrays the Prophet Muhammad as a womanizer, a homosexual and a child abuser.

For many Muslims, any depiction of the prophet is blasphemous and caricatures or other characterizations have in the past provoked violent protests across the Muslim world.

U.S. officials sought to distinguish the anti-American protests from the Arab Spring revolutions that ousted long-time strongmen in Egypt, Libya and Yemen; Obama backed those demonstrations.

"We see this now as principally tied to this video and those in the regions who are seeking to exploit it," a senior administration official said, according to The Associated Press.

Actors and the assistant director of the film "Innocence of Muslims" told NBC News that the original spoken lines in the screenplay were dubbed over without their knowledge. NBC's Mike Taibbi reports.

US victims identified
U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens
was killed Tuesday during a protest against the film when Islamists armed with guns, mortars and grenades staged military-style assaults on the Benghazi mission.

A Libyan doctor said Stevens died of smoke inhalation. U.S. information technology specialist and Air Force veteran Sean Smith also died at the consulate, while two other Americans were killed when a squad of security personnel sent by helicopter from Tripoli to rescue diplomats from a safe house came under mortar attack.

Clinton identified the two as Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, former Navy SEALS who died trying to protect their colleagues.

In a statement, she said both Woods and Doherty had lengthy experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. It did not say in what capacity they were working in Benghazi.

Two killed in Libyan consulate attack identified as ex-Navy SEALs

In an interview with ABC News last month, Doherty, 42, said he was working with the State Department on an intelligence mission to round up and destroy shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemns violence in response to the "disgusting and reprehensible" anti-Islam film that has sparked outrage across the Mideast and addresses demands for the U.S. to censor the video.

Thousand of those missiles disappeared in Libya after Moammar Gadhafi's overthrow by in a Western-backed uprising last year, prompting concerns they could end up in the hands of al-Qaida militants.

Timeline: Political fallout from the attack on diplomats in Libya

The U.S. military has dispatched two destroyers toward the Libyan coast, in what an official said was a move to give the administration flexibility for any future action. The USS Laboon, was already in position and the other destroyer, the USS McFaul, was at least a day away, a U.S. official said.

The U.S. military also sent a Marine Corps anti-terrorist team to boost security in Libya.

NBC News staff, The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report.

Home Improvement Ideas And Inspiration For All Types | My Blog

Posted by poragd03 on Sep 14, 2012 in FOOD JOKES | Comments Off

If your kitchen cabinets are looking a little bland. you can add new cabinet knobs to create a new living environment that sparkles. Kitchen knobs are relatively expensive. Knobs come in a variety of colors, giving you the ability to personalize your kitchen in a very cute way. Create a happy home today with new kitchen knobs.

If you realize that your heating costs are a bit more than you expected to be paying, you should have someone install some better insulation to your home. While this may be a bit pricey, it is much less than you would have to pay for inflated utility bills, over time.

When doing any kind of flooring home improvements, it is of critical importance that the old floor be cleaned properly before applying any new flooring. If there is dirt or any residual old mortar or underlayment, your new flooring will not adhere properly to the sub-floor and will cause problems in the future.

Here is a great home improvement idea! Ensure that your whole system (furnace, heat pump, air conditioner) is energy efficient. Leaky ducts can decrease the overall energy efficiency of your heating and cooling system by as much as twenty percent. Duct sealing increases efficiency and lowers your utility bills.

Have a backup plan for getting water or using the toilet if your home improvement project involves plumbing. It is impossible to predict how long it will take to install a new sink or complete a number of other plumbing projects. Even if you anticipate that you will be finished by the end of the day, have a backup plan in place just in case. You don?t want to leave your family without these necessities.

Choosing paint over wallpaper is a great home improvement tip. Wallpaper may seem like it?s easier to clean, and it is for the most part, but if you ever want to redecorate it?s going to be difficult to remove. There is much more involved with removing wallpaper, whereas with paint, you can just paint right over it!

Instead of installing electricity based heating system in your home, consider going with a large wood burning fireplace. With the proper piping and the right size, a wood burning fireplace is more cost effective and heats better. If the electricity ever goes out, you are still able to keep warm in the winter.

Are you tired of getting bit up by bugs every time that you step outside of your home? Why not screen in your patio so you and your family can sit outside happily. Screening your patio is a great way to keep your home looking great all year long.

For home improvement projects big enough to require a contractor, it is very important that you get a contractor you can trust. Review a prospective contractor?s history and talk to his previous employers. Any disputes, lawsuits or cost overruns you find in a contractor?s background are serious warning flags. Remember to ask the contractor to explain anything troubling you turn up, though.

When remodeling your kitchen, decide whether you really need enclosed cabinetry. Cabinets are often one of the most expensive pieces of kitchen remodeling, and you can save money by choosing open shelving instead. Shelves give you instant access to your cooking utensils, serving dishes, and ingredients. It?s a great idea for casual kitchens that get a lot of use.

Focus on interior lighting for your next home improvement project. If you change out your old light bulbs with Compact Fluorescent Lights, you will save energy and money. These bulbs also last longer than traditional lighting choices. This is a very simple project that will have remarkable results on the amount of money you save in energy bills.

Educate yourself before starting any home improvement projects. Be sure to research building codes and the history of the structure before you tear anything apart. Many projects are left uncompleted due to a lack of understanding of how something goes back together after it has been taken apart.

When it comes to home improvement, it is important to know which types of improvements will add to the value of your home and which will not. This will be important when it does come time to sell your house. Such general maintenance such as sealing the driveway and replacing the roof will not add to the value, however, an additional bathroom or a patio may.

When hiring a contractor to do home improvements for you, always shop around and look for the best price. Always get at least three estimates and check the references and previous projects done by the contractor. Many contractors take a lot of pride in what they do and they are more than willing to show you photos from previous projects or referrals from happy customers.

If one loves water and swimming then getting their own pool may be just the home improvement thing for them. There are many options for different kinds of pools one can get for their home allowing a custom fit pool for one?s needs. A pool can be just the thing for home improvement.

Improving your home yourself in anyway can be a fun, rewarding experience, but this can also be a disaster. Before starting any projects, make sure you research what you?re doing first. Getting halfway through any home improvement project only to find you?re doing something wrong is a nightmare waiting to happen.

As you can see, it is possible to make upgrades to your home with very little out of pocket money. These valuable upgrades will help to add value and charm to your house. You will be able to do-it-yourself and take great pride in the work you did to make your own home beautiful.

Maybe as a comfort when he didn?t want to worry his family, maybe just to pass the time when consulate employees couldn?t go anywhere, Smith, who was an ?avid gamer and married father of two,? was chatting with fellow players hours before he was killed in the attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, reportedly of smoke inhalation as the consulate building burned. [He was one of four Americans killed and nearly 30 Libyans wounded or killed in a two-part attack, among them Amb. Christopher Stevens, the first US ambassador to be killed in an attack since 1979, CBSNEWS.com reported today.]

?Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hailed Smith, who?d served the State Department for 10 years at US outposts in Baghdad, Pretoria, Montreal and The Hague, as ?one of our best?.?

What struck me about the McClatchy story about Smith?s experience in both real and virtual worlds was how admired he was for the same skills in both ? for his diplomatic talent and interests in the game-world every bit as much as technical skills in the ?real? world of diplomacy.

In EVE, the report said, he was ?known as 'Vile Rat,' a smart but tough diplomat and spy who worked on behalf of a major alliance called Goonswarm.?

Fellow players had elected him to serve on EVE?s Council of Stellar Management, which was authorized in-world to liaise with the game?s developers. The Iceland-based game EVE Online is a fascinating experiment in online + offline governance (I wrote about it in 2009 here), where by the Council of which Smith was a member grows in ?power? with the game?s developers in proportion to its ability to grow its influence with fellow players.

It?s an experiment in starting ?civilization? from scratch. So this was very real "parallel" diplomatic work in which Smith was engaged, and he is clearly missed deeply by those who were engaged in it with him and who understood the level of skill required. An in-game friend of six years said he focused ?relentlessly on diplomacy as a strategic tool,? according to McClatchy. EVE?s developers joined with the players, issuing a statement, too, ?overwhelmingly saddened? by Smith?s death.

Being able to memorialize a friend and collaborator online is small but very real comfort.

Obama Salutes US Olympic and Paralympic Teams At White House

President Obama welcomed the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams to the White House today, telling them they are "a portrait of what this country is all about."

"You guys all find the strength to keep pushing on good days and bad days, because you believe that no matter where we come from, or no matter what hand we've been dealt in life, with enough effort, there is no limit to how far we can go," the president told the large crowd of athletes gathered on the White House South Lawn.

"That's what sets all of you apart. That's what sets America apart. We celebrate individual effort, but we also know that, together, we can do incredible things that we couldn't accomplish on our own," he said.

The president was joined by Vice President Joe Biden and first lady Michelle Obama, who led the U.S. delegation to the Summer Games in London, in saluting the nation's finest athletes.

"I had so much fun with everyone over in London that when I got home, I told Barack that we had to invite everybody over to the house," Michelle Obama said.

The president admitted he was "pretty jealous" that his wife got to go to the games, "but like millions of Americans, I had almost as much fun just following you guys from here."

"I usually work pretty late, but I've mastered the DVR," he quipped. "It was a great way to end the day, watching you guys do things that I did not think were humanly possible."

After his wife returned to Washington, the president, an avid sports fan and exercise enthusiast, said he and the first lady would talk about the games while they worked out in the morning.

"We'd talk about, did you see that thing?" he recounted. "That was unbelievable. ? And then I'd jog on the treadmill," he said, making fun of his own athletic prowess.

The president said that he was not supposed to shake everyone's hands because of his tight schedule but vowed to "break the rule" and do it anyway, which he did.
